To achieve perfection in the arts is nearly impossible because it’s a widely subjective form of expression. And yet, there are a few filmmakers who you could say come close to a perfect record in their field.
Pixar has done it again. When they are at they best, they find a combination of laughs, action and heart that few other animated (or live action) films can match.
It’s quite a testament to the consistent quality Pixar has brought to films for twenty years that even though they’ve had some missteps recently, the fact that they NAIL IT once again with their newest release, “Inside Out”, is no real surprise.
After “Cars 2”, it’s good to know that some of Hollywood’s best filmmakers can pick themselves up and dust themselves off so quickly.
