There are great on-set stories and talk of the hidden gem “The Specials”, plus vocal coach to the stars Chet Loudly returns to teach everyone how to act with a more gravelly, Neeson-esque voice.
The Movie Guys crash the Los Angeles-area premiere of “Life Inside Out” at the Laemmle Playhouse Theaters in Pasadena, CA, with lobby interviews, giveaways and a cast & crew Q&A.
This independent film utilizes an incredible amount of ingenuity and the outcome is a whirling ride in the vein of a live murder mystery stage show.
“Devil’s Mile” is inventive, well-crafted and innovative (unlike the idiots who are running the PC game platform, Steam (by the Valve Corporation)).
Overall, this Irish indie film is charming and full of love. If you enjoyed “The Full Monty” and “Waking Ned Devine”, then this is one to find and enjoy.
“Hello Forever” is an ambitious and subtle undertaking by filmmaker Peter R. Kirk.
“Mordraud” is a fantastic little short. By “Fantastic”, I mean Extraordinary. By “Little”, I mean Epic. By “Short”, I mean under 23 minutes.
Characters make you laugh and cry and laugh again. And in the middle of it all is a very compelling and touching story about friendship.

The great thing about indies is that they are experimental in nature. They aren’t as polished and high budget as blockbusters, simply because they don’t have the money. But, they allow the filmmaker to explore and try new things never done before. Robin Mountjoy attempts just that.
