It’s quite a testament to the consistent quality Pixar has brought to films for twenty years that even though they’ve had some missteps recently, the fact that they NAIL IT once again with their newest release, “Inside Out”, is no real surprise.

It’s a big movie weekend as The Movie Guys look at upcoming films “World War Z” and “Monsters University”, including a call in to Monsters University of Phoenix. They also welcome special guests Herm Winningham, who is a zombie, and writer/actor/director Mitch Rouse, who is not.

I’m the first to get cynical when it comes to 3D re-issues, reboots, remakes and all that. But Pixar movies are timeless, and I think should be back in theaters every five years or so, 3D or not.
