Their efforts do not always hit the mark, but when they do, it ends up being a very fun 100+ minutes that does not wear out its welcome.
“Unfriended” is an interesting horror film in that the characters are so shallow, obnoxious and unlikable that I think it’s a pretty accurate portrayal of entitled, tech-addicted youths and there’s great reward in watching them get offed.

The great thing about indies is that they are experimental in nature. They aren’t as polished and high budget as blockbusters, simply because they don’t have the money. But, they allow the filmmaker to explore and try new things never done before. Robin Mountjoy attempts just that.
Every documentary has an ideal audience that would benefit most from it’s messages. Here, that audience would be young adults who are thinking of going into stand up comedy (yes, there are people in this world who are thinking of doing that somewhere).

I know this list will bring great debate from many of you out there. This is to be expected and is encouraged. But for now let’s get right to it.
My initial thought is, we come up with a basic questionnaire, designed by people who enjoy and understand the art of cinema, and anyone who fails it gets put on the list.
